XMind: Free Mindmapping Tool

I've used, I think, all of the mindmapping tools available. Recently, I discovered XMind, another entry in the field. After working with it, I'm very impressed. It's interface is intuitive, it's fast, it looks good and it prints well. It comes in both a free and a paid version. I'm using the free version and find it the best I've worked with.

Worth checking out at xmind.net.

Jim Priest's Gravatar +1 - Open source AND cross-platform! Not Adobe "cross platform" but real Win/Mac/Linux support.

And they have an Eclipse plugin!

Jim Priest's Gravatar Sigh. Unfortunately they have the most asinine login/signup/register/OpenID mess I've ever seen.

Jim Priest's Gravatar Quick followup - the Windows installer failed on my box but the stand alone ZIP worked fine. Also runs great on Ubuntu at home!

Phillip Senn's Gravatar Hal,

Thanks for the XMind recommendation. I've been looking for something like this for awhile now. I kept wondering if I was missing an Adobe product that did the same thing.
Have you upgraded to pro?

Hal's Gravatar @Phillip: I haven't found the need (yet) to "go pro".
